These Terms govern your use of Bean. By tapping “Agree & continue” in the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Private household use

Bean gives each account access only to its assigned household. Keep your sign-in credentials and invitation links secure, use only an account assigned to you, and do not attempt to access another household.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you add. You give Bean permission to process and store it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service for your household. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

Not medical advice

Bean is an organizational and informational tool, not a healthcare provider. Its AI-generated output may be incomplete or wrong and is not diagnosis, treatment, or emergency guidance. Contact a qualified clinician for medical care and local emergency services for emergencies.

AI-assisted features

By agreeing, you authorize Bean to send text you submit and relevant household context to its AI provider when needed to organize a capture, tag a link, or answer a question. Bean does not send saved photos or microphone recordings for this processing. AI output can be wrong; review it before relying on it.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Bean, interfere with the service, probe its security, automate abuse, or use it for unlawful or harmful activity. Access may be suspended when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users.

Availability and disclaimers

Bean is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Internet and third-party services can fail, and Bean does not promise uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bean disclaims implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses.

Ending use and changes

You may stop using Bean or delete your account at any time in Settings. These Terms may change as the service evolves; material changes will be presented in the app before continued use.
